Mastering

Pre-Production Mastering

Our studios stay on top of the latest equipment to provide you with the finest mastering available. We can accept most old and new formats, including CDR, DAT, reel to reel, cassette, and even LP. In addition, all CD package orders of 500 pieces or more receive the first 2 ½ hours of mastering for $100.00—that’s $112.00 off our regular studio rate of $85/hr!

For more information about the professional mastering process and why it can make a difference in your music or other recordings, as well as how to prepare your recording for mastering, visit our Mastering FAQ.

Glass Mastering

The glass master is the final stage before replication and is actually what is used to make your CDs. Our Nimbus Photoresist Mastering System allows us to provide you with the most advanced mastering technique available in the industry today. This breakthrough laser technology is adaptable to all disc formats, including CD and DVD.

Our plant’s certified 10,000 clean room provides our customers with guaranteed quality and efficiency in any project. Discs are manufactured using state of the art Toolex ODME and Fairchild replication systems that provide a capacity exceeding 70,000 units per day. Both mastering and replication systems pass through our exclusively designed multi-phase quality control checkpoints before making the transfer to our packaging lines, ensuring that your recording will sound just as you’ve intended.

Single Speed Glass Mastering

For the true audiophile, we offer single speed (1:1) glass mastering. Experts feel this method is the best way to retain the integrity of the recording. It produces the highest fidelity available in the digital realm. This isn’t to say that the usual 4:1 process is of poor quality! 4:1 is the industry standard, and is included in your package. 1:1 is just another option available for those who wish to have the best the industry has to offer. Just add $175.00 to any package price!
